Your Privacy
  • When you go to download the trial version, we give you an opportunity to join our emailing list. To decline, enter nothing and just click directly on the Mac or Windows button. We are still happy that you try our products, though we won't be able to contact you if we have any product news.
  • We don't send purely promotional announcements, only real news. We send no more than two email announcements per year.
  • We don't bother you with a "double opt-in" procedure (sending you a confirmation email requiring you to reply). In case someone later disputes that they gave us their email address and accuses us of spam, we log the IP address used for the accessing the download page.
  • We do not sell, rent, or give our customer or visitor information to any outside party.
  • We tell you in every announcement message how to cancel further contact.
  • Your credit card purchase is private and secure. We never see card numbers for orders placed at our web store, Kagi or through PayPal.
Satisfaction

We make every effort to ensure you are satisfied with our products.

  • If you have any trouble with Unlocking Codes, email codes@3Prong.com, quoting your Unlocking email.
  • If you have a problem with your credit card transaction, you should contact Kagi (the web store which sells our products) directly.
    If Kagi cannot resolve it or they refer you to us, send the details in an email to codes@3Prong.com.
  • If you have any problems with 3Prong software not operating as specified in the User Guide, send email to bugs@3Prong.com. If you identify and report a reproducible bug previously unknown to us, you will receive a free license for a 3Prong product of your choice!
Purchase Orders

We accept purchase orders and provide invoices, but please contact sales@3Prong.com if you want your Unlocking Codes before we get payment. You have these other options:

  • You can use an company or personal credit card to purchase via our web store, Kagi. For accounting purposes or expense claims, Kagi can send a postcard receipt, or you can print the Kagi email receipt. Your credit card information is secure. You will receive the Unlocking Codes within minutes.

  • You can prepay by PayPal, a web payment service, using our automated order form to prepare the order. All the calculations are done for you, and your order is submitted by web to PayPal. Within 24 hours of receiving payment, we send the Unlocking Codes by email.

  • You can prepay by check or money order, using our automated order form to prepare the order. All the calculations are done for you, and you simply print the form to give to the accounting department at your firm. Have them issue a check and send it to us with the order. Within 24 hours of receiving payment, we send the Unlocking Codes by email.
Upgrades

To upgrade or ensure you have to the latest version of 3Prong products at any time, simply download and re-install the 3Prong plug-ins, and licensed products will remain unlocked. See the history of improvements and fixes. We will attempt to email licensed users with notice of major changes.

If you have re-installed or upgraded your Avid system, you may have to download and re-install the 3Prong plug-ins, but your Unlocking Codes will likely still be present and valid. If not, we will issue new Unlocking Codes for upgraded Avid systems, but reserve the right to require proof that you have returned your old system or dongle to Avid. Send your new Ordering Code and details to codes@3Prong.com.

Returns and Transfers

Once a valid order is accepted and payment is verified, Unlocking Codes are emailed automatically and cannot be recalled. Once a license has been issued for a particular system, it is not technically possible for us to reclaim it. For these reasons, we cannot give refunds for licenses, or allow licenses to be moved or transferred from one Avid system to another.
