All Avid systems must have an Avid dongle present, and your 3Prong Ordering Code is based upon this dongle ID.
However, variations in Avid systems may prevent the generation of the 3Prong Ordering Code. If you receive an error message about this, or your Ordering Code is not shown:
| Macintosh Users: If you have a problem viewing the license dialog box
because of strange fonts and colors, this is an Apple bug. Try copying the dialog box
contents to a Simpletext window. Contact 3Prong for
further help. OS X: Note that there are two OS X
versions of 3Prong plug-ins. If you have installed the wrong version, your Avid
application will launch more slowly and you will not be able to get the Ordering Code. In
this case, please delete the 3Prong plug-in files (for example,
"ColorFiX.bundle") from your AVX_Plug-ins folder, and download and re-install the
correct version. |
| Windows Users: If you have an older trial version of the plug-ins, download the latest one from the 3Prong web site. If you have a quite old Avid system, you may need to download the newer Sentinel System Driver directly from the manufacturer of your Avid dongle. |
If you still have problems getting an Ordering Code from your Avid system, please contact 3Prong for assistance. We will be happy to help.
